Since the end of 2021, a series of fund raising efforts have secured almost £25,000 of funding towards urgent repairs required to keep the church buildings safe. The ‘Quinquennial’ inspection report which recommends the works required can be viewed here. These efforts will need to continue in a multi-year effort to secure the future of the church buildings. The original estimated figure of £80,000 from 2020 grew to over £140,000 plus VAT when reassessed in 2023, so we have targeted only the most vital repairs, which should be achievable with a cost of £50,000.
